Job Description
Logistics Analyst III
A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident to qualify.
Enhances product workflow by analyzing and developing logistics plans affecting production, distribution, and inventory. Drives improvement initiatives and solves complicated logistics problems to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize costs.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Logistics Analyst III: Pay commensurate with experience.
Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Logistics Analyst III Responsibilities Include:
  • Developing and refining logistics plans across distribution and inventory management functions
  • Creating and enforcing procedures that improve service levels, readiness, and cost control
  • Performing multi-factor analysis on supply performance (demand trends, lead times, backorders, expirations)
  • Building recurring and ad hoc reports to communicate performance, risk, and corrective actions
  • Troubleshooting complex logistics issues and driving root-cause analysis to resolution
  • Coordinating with leadership, customers, and vendors to align priorities and execution
  • Supporting training and knowledge transfer on updated procedures and tools
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Logistics Analyst III Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Average experience is 5 years in medical logistics/supply chain operations or analytics
  • Strong knowledge of logistics concepts, practices, and procedures with the ability to work independently
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to brief findings and recommendations
  • Proficiency in Microsoftยฎ Office suite (Wordยฎ, Outlookยฎ, Excelยฎ); Power BI/Tableau a plus
  • Ability to learn and operate inventory/logistics systems (ERP/WMS/proprietary tools)
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
