Job description

A Service Coordinator performs professional liaison work between Bureau/Department management and the City Council, Mayor's Office, community groups, neighborhood councils, and other departments/agencies; identifies and addresses the needs and concerns of community stakeholders and elected office partners; provides information on Bureau activities, programs, and projects, including supporting the coordination, implementation, and advancement of the Sidewalk and Transit Amenities Program (STAP) and related transit initiatives; prepares presentations, plans, correspondence, and reports with recommendations to Bureau/Department management on a variety of legislation, grants, issues of concern, projects, and priorities that will impact the operations of the Bureau/Department; may supervise professional staff involved in a central agency, operating department, or bureau administration; and does related work.
