Civil On Demand is expanding its leadership‑level technical team and is seeking an accomplished Professional Engineer (PE) with a proven track record in civil engineering and commercial land development. This role is ideal for a highly driven engineer with 10+ years of experience and an established portfolio of client relationships that can transition seamlessly into a high‑performance, flexible consulting environment.


About the Role

As a senior engineer with Civil On Demand, you’ll lead and deliver commercial development projects across multiple markets—office, retail, industrial, mixed‑use, and redevelopment. You’ll serve as both a technical expert and a client‑facing leader, shaping project strategy, ensuring quality, and driving growth through trusted relationships.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead civil engineering design for commercial development projects from concept through construction
  • Oversee site planning, grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater systems, permitting, and construction documentation
  • Manage client relationships, project scopes, schedules, and deliverables with a high degree of autonomy
  • Provide QA/QC oversight and mentor junior designers and engineers
  • Coordinate with architects, surveyors, geotechnical consultants, and regulatory agencies
  • Support business development efforts and expand Civil On Demand’s commercial development portfolio


Qualifications

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with 10+ years of civil engineering experience
