Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pipeline Civil Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience supporting the design, development, and execution of energy infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have civil engineering experience focused on pipeline systems, pump stations, compressor stations, and related energy assets, along with a strong background working on engineering consulting projects from concept through construction. This role will be responsible for delivering civil engineering solutions, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, supporting permitting and regulatory requirements, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and review civil engineering designs for pipeline facilities, pump stations, compressor stations, terminals, and related energy infrastructure.
  • Prepare and review site development plans, grading plans, drainage designs, stormwater management plans, and erosion and sediment control measures.
  • Prepare and review pipe racks and pipe support plans, road and canal crossing plans and other structural steel design plans.
  • Support routing, site selection, constructability reviews, and feasibility studies for pipeline and facility projects.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout project execution.
  • Prepare engineering calculations, technical specifications, construction packages, and cost estimates.
  • Assist with permitting activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct site visits, field investigations, and construction support activities as needed.
  • Provide technical guidance during project planning, detailed design, procurement, and construction phases.
  • Manage project deliverables, schedules, budgets, and client communications for consulting engagements.
  • Review contractor submittals, RFIs, and construction documentation.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • 5 to 10 years of civil engineering experience supporting energy infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with pipeline facilities, transmission systems, pump stations, compressor stations, and energy-related infrastructure.
  • Experience working in an engineering consulting environment and managing multiple client projects.
  • Knowledge of site civil design, drainage, grading, permitting, and utility coordination.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related civil engineering design software.
  • Strong understanding of applicable industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting pipeline expansion, facility upgrades, and greenfield energy projects.
  • Project management experience on capital energy infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with structural design programs, such as Ceasar II, Revit, STAAD, or AutoPIPE
