Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Ozark, MO. The Civil Engineer will perform civil engineering design for public and private projects, including site development, municipal infrastructure, transportation, and water/wastewater systems. Daily responsibilities include preparing plans and specifications, performing calculations, coordinating with internal disciplines and external stakeholders, and assisting with permitting and regulatory compliance. The role involves evaluating existing site and infrastructure conditions, developing practical design solutions, and supporting construction phase services such as responding to RFIs and reviewing submittals. The Civil Engineer will work closely with project managers and senior engineers to ensure quality, schedule adherence, and effective communication with clients and agencies.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to apply engineering principles to a variety of site and infrastructure projects.
  • Experience working in Civil Engineering project teams and collaborating with other Civil Engineers on multidisciplinary assignments.
  • Skills in Planning for site development and infrastructure projects, including layout, grading, utilities, and permitting considerations.
  • Knowledge of Stormwater Management practices, including hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, detention/retention design, and compliance with local and state regulations.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field; EIT certification preferred, PE licensure or ability to obtain PE in Missouri is a plus.
  • Proficiency with relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar), and familiarity with applicable codes and standards.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and commitment to quality.
