Job description

Qualifications


  • Appropriate License issued by the State of Indiana to teach high school business in Indiana. Ability to obtain dual credit certification and additional licensing preferred.


Duties


  • Effectively implement business instruction and assessments as assigned. This includes following the curriculum and teaching standards and models as outlined by the Indiana Department of Education and the Clarksville Community School Corporation.
  • Effectively run business pathway courses and work-based learning opportunities connected to this pathway, including supporting the coffee shop school-based business.
  • Effectively communicate with all stakeholders regarding student performance.
  • Effectively monitor all student learning. This would include but is not limited to, observing and recording all student data related to classroom activities, providing intervention as indicated by the data and observations, and communicating with stakeholders regarding student learning.
  • Effectively implement school and board adopted policies, procedures and practices.
  • Effectively assume the duties associated with classroom management and administration of the school (i.e. attendance records, grade reporting, lesson plans, parent communication, etc.).
  • Effectively implement other duties as assigned by the administration.
