What is CityFHEPS?

CityFHEPS is a rental assistance program in New York City designed to help individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless. The program provides eligible participants with vouchers that can be used to help pay for housing in the private rental market. CityFHEPS aims to make stable housing more accessible and prevent homelessness by covering a portion of rent based on household income and family size. The program is administered by the NYC Department of Social Services and partners with landlords to increase housing options for those in need.
