Job description

Position Title: District Manager
Location: Can be based out of - Wyoming or South Dakota
District(s): Casper, Cheyenne, Cody, Gillette - WY; Spearfish, SD
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: Regional Manager

The District Manager acts as a leader, coach and resource for Store Managers and their teams, creating a positive, professional, and performance-driven environment.
Our District Manager(s) build our business by leading teams that live out The Three Things – the foundation of a great City Brew Experience.
What You’ll Do
As a City Brew District Manager, you will:
  • Lead and support multiple City Brew retail locations, ensuring consistent execution of City Brew standards.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop Store Managers and Assistant Managers through regular store visits, feedback, and performance reviews.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative leadership culture by leading through example.
  • Ensure exceptional guest service and product quality at all assigned locations.
  • Develop and manage annual operating budgets, including sales, labor, and cost controls.
  • Oversee staffing, hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management to align with business needs.
  • Monitor cash handling procedures, conduct audits, and ensure financial accountability.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and welcoming store environments, including buildings, parking areas, and surrounding grounds.
  • Oversee inventory systems to ensure fully stocked locations while minimizing waste and shortages.
  • Execute and support marketing initiatives, including proper placement of POP materials, and provide feedback on new opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with all City Brew policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Partner with the Support Office and Human Resources on employee relations, investigations, discipline, and documentation.
  • Support personnel matters including hiring, evaluations, performance improvement plans, and terminations.
  • Communicate and escalate requests related to extended leave, FMLA, ADA accommodations, and similar matters in a timely manner.
  • Assist with employee recognition initiatives and leadership development programs.
  • Stay current on company initiatives and training through the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Model, coach and foster on The Three Things every day.
