What You’ll Do

As a Cellarman / Brewer’s Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in our brewing operations. Here’s a glimpse of your responsibilities:

Cellar Operations
  • Operate cellar equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Clean, sanitize, and transfer vessels; package products into cans and kegs.
  • Wash kegs using automated equipment and maintain clean yeast disposal and grain areas.
  • Follow strict SOPs to meet quality standards and assist with process improvements.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report low stock to supervisors.
  • Complete production paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Provide creative input on new product recipes as requested.
  • Uphold brewery safety and security procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with management and staff, arriving on time with a positive attitude.
  • Assist other departments (Brewing, Packaging, Maintenance, QC/Lab) as needed.
Warehouse & Logistics
  • Organize and rotate finished goods in cold storage using FIFO principles.
  • Label cans and prepare packaged products.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely.
What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone with a strong work ethic, an eagerness to learn, and a passion for brewing. Here’s what you’ll need to succeed:

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Strong basic math skills (weights, volumes, and proportions).
  • Ability to learn, retain, and apply written/verbal instructions and SOPs.
Preferred Experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in a commercial brewery environment.
  • Familiarity with operating a centrifuge is a major plus.
  • Forklift experience or certification is a bonus.
Soft Skills
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and results-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and a good sense of humor.
  • Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking abilities.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
  • A team player who’s ready to wear multiple hats.
Physical Demands & Work Environment

This role requires physical agility and the ability to perform tasks such as standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, and reaching. You must be able to frequently lift and move up to 60 pounds and safely maneuver kegs weighing up to 165 pounds. Flexibility to work various shifts (day, swing, float, and night) is essential to meet production demands.
