Job description

We are looking for an experienced Network Support Engineer to provide onsite support, deployment, administration, and maintenance of enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Cisco networking technologies, including routing, switching, SD-WAN, and network security solutions. The candidate will act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) and SME for network operations, ensuring network availability, performance, and security across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite support for enterprise network infrastructure, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Install, configure, and manage Cisco routers and switches.
  • Act as the SME and primary point of contact for network operations and network security activities.
  • Collaborate with the customer network engineering team to design and implement enterprise network strategies.
  • Identify business improvement opportunities and support project delivery in coordination with customer stakeholders.
  • Monitor network performance and resolve incidents, service requests, and operational issues within SLA.
  • Manage LAN environments (Data Center & Branch Offices), including switch configuration changes, code upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Manage WAN infrastructure, including routers, ISP connectivity, QoS implementation, configuration changes, and troubleshooting.
  • Administer firewall environments by performing policy updates, NAT configuration, access rule management, routing changes, and application access troubleshooting.
  • Support load balancers through configuration updates, code upgrades, certificate renewals, application deployments, and issue resolution.
  • Provide telecom support, including Microsoft Teams, IP Phones, VoIP configuration, call quality troubleshooting, and vendor coordination.
  • Coordinate with ISPs and hardware vendors for incident management and escalations.
  • Deploy, support, and troubleshoot Cisco SD-WAN environments.
  • Manage Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) firewalls and implement network security best practices.
  • Support Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for network access control and policy enforcement (preferred).
  • Coordinate with remote teams, vendors, and business stakeholders during incident resolution and project implementation.
  • Perform network upgrades, patching, planned maintenance, and hardware replacement activities.
  • Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and configuration backups.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and operational standards.
  • Support firewall hardware replacement and configuration migration activities.
  • Follow ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management, and participate in CAB meetings.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Routing (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
  • Expertise in Cisco Switching technologies.
  • Experience with Cisco SD-WAN deployment and support.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD).
  • Strong understanding of Firewall Policies, NAT, ACLs, VPNs, and Network Security.
  • Experience managing LAN/WAN environments across Data Centers and Branch Offices.
  • Knowledge of Cisco ISE is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Load Balancers and Telecom/VoIP support is an added advantage.
  • Experience working with ITIL processes and enterprise production support environments.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
