Engagement Length: 12 months

About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a leading enterprise client to identify an experienced Senior Solutions Architect for a 12-month consulting engagement. This role is ideal for a senior network professional with deep hands-on experience across modern data center networking, Arista fabric environments, and Cisco infrastructure.

This is an onsite opportunity with the primary location in Chandler, AZ, though candidates may also be considered in Plano, TX; Pennington, NJ; Chicago, IL; or Jacksonville, FL.

Opportunity Overview

In this role, you will support the design, implementation, administration, and optimization of large-scale enterprise network environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical depth in Arista EVPN/VXLAN fabrics, Cisco routing and switching, and complex data center network operations.

This is a high-impact opportunity to contribute to critical infrastructure initiatives within a large, sophisticated enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, support, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure across data center and campus environments.
  • Administer and support Arista network fabrics, including EVPN/VXLAN-based architectures.
  • Work hands-on with Arista EOS and CloudVision for configuration, management, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Support Cisco network environments, including routers, switches, wireless platforms, and related network operating systems.
  • Troubleshoot complex routing, switching, connectivity, and performance issues across large-scale environments.
  • Partner with engineering, operations, and infrastructure teams to improve network reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Support routing and switching protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, and MPLS.
  • Assist with network documentation, standards, best practices, and operational improvements.
  • Contribute to automation or infrastructure-as-code initiatives where applicable.

Required Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience supporting Arista Fabric environments, specifically EVPN/VXLAN.
  • Deep expertise with Cisco routing, switching, and network infrastructure.
  • Experience designing, deploying, troubleshooting, and tuning enterprise network environments.
  • Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols, including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, and MPLS.
  • Experience with Arista EOS and CloudVision.
  • Ability to operate effectively in large, complex, enterprise-scale environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Cisco certification preferred, with CCNP strongly preferred and CCIE considered a plus.
  • Arista certification such as ACE, or equivalent hands-on Arista EOS and CloudVision experience.
  • Exposure to network automation, scripting, or infrastructure-as-code tools.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The strongest fit will be a senior-level network architect or engineer who has directly supported Arista EVPN/VXLAN fabric environments while also bringing strong Cisco infrastructure expertise. This person should be comfortable operating in a hands-on capacity, solving complex network issues, and supporting critical enterprise infrastructure
