* Information Technology Location: Lehi, UT Employment Type: Full-Time Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Position Overview We are seeking a Network Engineer Level 1 to support the design, implementation, security, monitoring, and troubleshooting of mission-critical network infrastructure in a secure environment. This position is ideal for a network engineer with hands-on experience supporting Cisco networking technologies, LAN environments, datacenter networks, routing and switching, firewalls, VPNs, and network security. The Network Engineer will work with both physical and virtualized infrastructure while supporting the availability, performance, and security of enterprise network systems. Key Responsibilities * Support system-level network design and architecture for secure enterprise environments. * Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, and other network security devices. * Support CAN, MAN, and LAN infrastructure and datacenter network environments. * Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers and switches utilizing technologies such as Cisco IOS, CatOS, and NxOS. * Support enterprise network security, security boundaries, filtering, access controls, and stateful firewalls. * Configure and support IPsec VPNs and secure network connectivity. * Troubleshoot network performance and connectivity using packet-capture and network-monitoring tools. * Work with Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking protocols, TCP/IP, routing, and switching technologies. * Support Cisco and F5 load-balancing technologies. * Work with network technologies and platforms including Cisco ASA, FWSM, CiscoWorks, TACACS+, HP OpenView, Juniper, InfiniBand, and Fibre Channel SAN. * Support datacenter virtualization technologies, including VMware and Solaris containers. * Utilize the Atlassian Tool Suite to support technical and operational workflows. * Participate in on-call support requirements and live-call environments. * Track, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents using Remedy or similar ticketing systems. Required Qualifications * 3+ years of demonstrable network engineering experience with a qualifying degree, OR 5+ years without a degree, supporting LAN network engineering, architecture, monitoring, security, and protection. * Experience with datacenter network design and architecture. * Hands-on experience installing and configuring: * Cisco routers * Cisco switches * Firewalls * IPsec VPNs * Strong understanding of TCP/IP and routing/switching protocols. * Strong working knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols. * Experience with stateful firewalls and Layer 3/Layer 4 access controls. * Experience physically installing, configuring, and troubleshooting enterprise network devices. * Ability to support on-call requirements within a mission-critical environment. Clearance Requirement An active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required for this position.
