Salary Range: $19.00/hour for 3- months, adjusted post program completion to $20/hr - $24/hr ย (based on experience and rotation)ย

Training Schedule for two -ย three months: 1st Shift 7:00am - 3:30pmย 

Permanent shifts times:

  • 1st Shift - 7:00am - 3:30pm
  • 2nd Shift - 3:30pm - 11:30pm
  • 3rd Shift - 11:00pm - 7:00am

Program Overviewย 

The Manufacturing Operations Trainee Program offersย 2-3 months of immersive, hands-on training across tManufacturing and Packaging.ย Trainees gain direct exposure to cGMP standards, SOP compliance, and practices that ensure operational excellence in a regulated environment.ย 

Located in Fall River, MA, the program provides experience in the production of meter doseย inhalersย (MDI). Participants work under the guidance of production managers and department leaders to reinforce compliance and promote right-first-time execution. This program is designed to prepare individuals for long-term careers in pharmaceutical operations, equipping them with cross-functional technical expertise.ย 

Responsibilities & Learning Objectivesย

Manufacturing Operationsย 

  • Assist in pharmaceutical manufacturing processes including granulation, compression, coating, encapsulation, and batch execution per SOPs and BMR requirements.ย 

  • Perform machine changeovers, cleaning, line clearance, and preventive maintenance while monitoring equipment calibration and pressure differentials.ย 

Packaging Operationsย 

  • Operate packaging equipment for oral solid dose (OSD) and dry powder inhalation (DPI) products; ensure proper labeling, documentation, and adherence to cGMP and quality standards.ย 

  • Maintain workplace cleanliness, safety, and sanitation regulations to minimize product rejection and support continuous compliance.ย 

Education Qualificationsย 

  • High School Diploma or equivalentย required;ย 

  • Associate's degree preferred.ย 

  • Trade School, Community College and Military Veterans welcomed.ย 

Experienceย 

Machine operation or manufacturing industry experienceย 

Skills & Competenciesย 

  • Basic math and computer skills.ย 

  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in a team.ย 

  • Strong documentation and organizational skills.ย 

  • Understanding of cGMP and safety procedures.ย 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, required.ย 

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced, regulated environment.ย 

Physical Requirementsย 

  • Frequent standing, bending, and lifting.ย 

  • Ability to wear PPE and respiratory devices as required.ย 

  • Comfortable working in a pharmaceutical environment with active ingredients.ย 

  • 6-8 hours standing while performing the taskย 

  • Physical ability toย lift upย to 50ย lbsย and work with pharmaceutical powders.ย
