Job description

Are you tired of driving from place to place and trying to stay on schedule? Do you want to work at one location with a steady schedule for a Fortune 500 company? If so, The Cigna Group may be the right place for you. We are looking for an experienced Commercial HVAC Technician (HVAC Tech III) to support one of our Pharmacy Rx Fulfillment Centers in Whitestown, IN. This role focuses on keeping building systems running safely and smoothly in a fast-paced environment.
Sign-On Bonus Eligible: $1,500
Responsibilities:
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems
  • Use the building automation system to find and fix system issues
  • Work with supervisors and vendors to complete repairs and projects
  • Complete work orders and updates in the maintenance system (CMMS)
  • Order parts and track inventory needed for repairs
  • Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment working longer
  • Respond quickly to emergency repair needs
  • Complete general building repairs such as painting, plumbing, and basic electrical work
  • Answer maintenance requests from the site operations team
  • Follow all safety and OSHA guidelines
  • Help train and support other team members
  • Communicate clearly and work well with others in a team setting

Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or technical school training, or equivalent work experience
  • Universal CFC certification required
  • 5+ years of HVAC/Refrigeration experience
  • Ability to read and understand manuals, drawings, and work orders
  • Willing to complete OSHA 10 training within 6 months of hire
  • Basic computer skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as standing, climbing ladders, and bending
  • Strong focus on safety for yourself and others
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • On-call and occasional work at other locations may be required.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
