Job description

Home Infusion Registered Nurse

Bring your nursing expertise directly to patients' homes-where comfort meets compassionate care. As part of CarepathRx Specialty Pharmacy & Infusion Solutions, you'll support patients with complex therapy needs while helping them gain confidence in managing their health at home.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, professional home infusion care focused on improving patient outcomes.

  • Provide clear education to patients and caregivers to build confidence in managing infusion and enteral therapies.

  • Collaborate closely with pharmacists, providers, and care teams to ensure coordinated, wholeperson care.

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

  • Exercise sound clinical judgment and autonomy in diverse home settings.

  • Communicate effectively with care teams, patients, and caregivers in both written and verbal formats.

  • Follow safety procedures for handling hazardous agents and blood/body fluids.

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN license in the state of practice.

  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience.

  • At least 1 year of clinical infusion therapy experience, including patient assessment and venous access skills.

  • CPR/BLS certification.

  • Proficiency in IV insertion and infusion techniques.

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within a large geographic area.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

  • Experience in home infusion or specialty pharmacy settings.

As part of Evernorth Health Services, this role supports CarepathRx within our Pharmacy and Care Delivery organization. Our team focuses on specialty pharmacy and infusion services in partnership with hospitals and health systems.
