JOB TITLE: Systems Integration/Test Engineer
LOCATION: Orlando, FL
PAY RATE: $58.80/hour

Summary: 

  • Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for integration and testing of in-house and COTS or GOTS components, elements, subsystems, and systems.

  • Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

  • Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware or software interface problems, defines input or output parameters, and ensures integration of entire system or subsystem.

  • Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, and develops test plans, procedures, and schedules for complete systems and subsystems.

  • Coordinates subsystem and system testing activities with programs and other organizations.

  • Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and system level evaluation reports that verify and validate system performance.

  • Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify or validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems, and systems.

  • Performs electrical troubleshooting on cables and circuit cards using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other electrical instruments.

  • Performs integration and verification of test equipment to ensure system readiness.

  • Develops and updates software code using NI TestStand or LabView, and reads, writes, and develops wiring diagrams, equipment drawings, test requirements, and test procedures.

Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

  • Must have at least 2 years of experience with electrical troubleshooting on cables and circuit cards using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other electrical instruments.

  • Must have at least 2 years of experience with integration and verification of test equipment.

  • Must have at least 2 years of experience with software or code development and updating in coding languages typically used in testing environments, especially NI products like TestStand or LabView.

  • Must have at least 2 years of experience with reading, writing, and development of wiring diagrams, equipment drawings, test requirements, and test procedures.

  • Must be able to develop and direct execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for complete systems and subsystems.

  • Must be able to perform analysis of test results and prepare subsystem and system level evaluation reports.

  • Must be able to write discrepancy reports and perform integration regression testing.

  • Must have experience with hardware and software interface problem solving and defining input and output parameters.

  • Must have experience coordinating subsystem and system testing activities with programs and other organizations.
