Description

Vermont Cider Company is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Production Operators to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are committed to quality, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Join us at our state-of-the-art facility in Middlebury, VT, and contribute to the production of high-quality beverage products.

We have openings on all shifts at our state-of-the-art facility in Middlebury, VT.  

  • 1st Shift Schedule - Monday - Thursday, 6:00am to 4:30pm
  • 2nd Shift Schedule - Monday - Thursday, 4:00pm to 2:30am - Shift differential applies 
  • 3rd Shift Schedule- Friday-Sunday, 6:00am to 6:30 pm - Shift differential applies

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and monitor machinery to ensure smooth and efficient production processes

- Maintain high standards of quality control throughout the manufacturing cycle

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment

- Assist with setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of equipment as needed

- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines

- Document production activities and report any issues or deviations

- Competitive pay rate of $18 to $21 per hour, based on experience

- Additional $2 per hour shift differential for all hours worked on 2nd shift and 3rd shift

Requirements

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED 

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

- Good communication and teamwork skills

- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
