Responsible for ensuring state, federal (i.e. Centers for Disease Control), regulatory and accreditation standards are met to include required communicable disease reporting. You will provide leadership and expertise to site-specific administrative and clinical staff leadership through rounding, staff education and training, and promotion of evidence-based/best practices to improve quality outcomes.Position AvailableFull-Time; 40 hours per weekThere may be local travel and On CallEducationBachelor's degree. (Preferred from an accredited university or college with emphasis in nursing, clinical quality improvement, microbiology, epidemiology or related field)License / CertificationIndividuals who hold a license or certification are required to hold and maintain that credential.Certification in Infection Control and Epidemiology (i.e. Certification in Infection Control, or CIC, preferred.
