The Church Videographer & Editor helps tell the story of what God is doing in and through the church through compelling video, photography, and edited content. This role captures Sunday gatherings, events, baptisms, stories, ministry moments, and special projects in a way that reflects the heart, culture, and mission of the church. 
 
This person is responsible for shooting and editing video, capturing high-quality photos, organizing media files, creating content for social media, web, announcements, and other communication channels, and helping maintain a consistent visual style across the church. They work closely with the Communications Team, ministry leaders, and campus staff to capture and share stories that celebrate God's work and help people take their next step toward Jesus. 
 
Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is creative, organized, flexible, and comfortable working in fast-paced ministry environments. They should have a good eye for storytelling, strong editing skills, attention to detail, and a desire to use their gifts to help people see and celebrate the work God is doing. 
 
Key Responsibilities 
  • Capture photo and video content at Sunday gatherings, events, baptisms, ministry environments, and special services.
  • Edit video content for social media, announcements, recap videos, stories, and other church communication needs.
  • Take and edit photos that can be used across web, social, email, print, and ministry promotion.
  • Organize, label, and maintain photo and video files for easy access and future use.
  • Work with the Communications Team to plan content needs and meet project deadlines.
  • Follow and help reinforce the church's established visual standards and brand guidelines.
  • Identify meaningful moments and stories that can be captured and shared with the church.
Helpful Skills
  •  Photography and videography experience
  • Video editing experience
  • Basic lighting and audio knowledge
  • Familiarity with tools like Adobe Premiere, Lightroom, Photoshop, Canva, or similar programs
  • Strong organization and file management
  • Ability to work well with people and capture moments in a natural, honoring way
  • A heart for the local church and storytelling ministry
Spiritual Expectations
  • Be a committed follower of Jesus.
  • Support the mission, doctrine, and values of RADIUS Church.
  • Participate in staff meetings and church-wide rhythms.
Reporting Structure
  • Reports directly to the Associate Director of Communications.
  • Reports indirectly to the Director of Communications.
  • Works collaboratively with the Communications Team.
