Crossroads Church is a growing multi-site, interdenominational church. Our sites are currently located in Ohio and Kentucky, with plans to expand to additional cities.We also have an online presence that serves thousands of people who aren't located near one of our physical sites.

Job Summary

We're looking for a creative and skilled video creator who loves telling stories through video and has a passion for engaging people on digital platforms. This role will be responsible for producing high-quality video content-from concept to final edit-for use in digital ads and on social media. The ideal candidate is a talented videographer and a savvy post-production editor who understands what works online, especially in social and paid media environments. You should also know your way around managing social media channels.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Video Production & Editing

  • Plan, shoot, and edit engaging video content for a variety of platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).

  • Capture footage for promotional campaigns, social media stories, testimonials, man-on-the-street videos, and other short-form and long-form video content.

  • Collaborate with the Reach Marketing team to develop compelling visual stories that align with our brand and campaign goals.

  • Manage the end-to-end post-production process, including sound design, color grading, motion graphics, and final delivery.

  • Build strong relationships with ministry leaders and internal clients, ensuring needs are heard and met.

Social Media Support

  • Assist with content scheduling, posting, and basic community engagement across some channels (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) as needed.

  • Help brainstorm and test new creative formats for maximum reach and engagement.

  • Stay up-to-date with social media video trends, platform changes, and best practices.


Education Requirements

  • Bachelor-level degree or equivalent college experience preferred

Skills/Experience Requirements

  • At least 3 years experience in video production, including filming, editing, and audio.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (or Final Cut), After Effects, and other editing software.

  • Experience creating content specifically for digital ads and social media platforms.

  • Solid understanding of framing, lighting, and audio for both studio and field production.

  • Working knowledge of social media platforms and how to tailor content for each.

  • Creative mindset, strong attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects on a deadline.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Background in communications or marketing.

  • Photography skills are a plus.

  • Basic graphic design ability (Photoshop, Canva) a bonus.

Physical Requirements

  • Able to lift 25 lbs.

Scheduling/Travel Requirements

  • Potential travel to Crossroads sites on occasion.

  • Expected to work outside of "normal" schedule for All Hands on Deck high-impact events (Holy Week/Easter, Super Bowl, Christmas, others as needed), participate in all-staff meetings, Day of Solitude, offsites, etc.
