Campus Coordinator (Alabaster Location)

Position Summary

The Campus Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Campus Pastor and ensuring the day-to-day operations of the campus run smoothly. This position focuses on administrative excellence, organizational support, and effective communication to help execute the vision and mission of the campus. Responsibilities include coordinating campus logistics, managing schedules, supporting events and services, and serving as a key point of contact for staff, volunteers, and members. The Campus Coordinator thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, demonstrating strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a heart for serving people and advancing the church's mission. To serve Church of the Highlands by playing an instrumental role alongside the Campus Pastor in carrying out the global vision through administration, coordination, and operation of the campus.

Experience and Knowledge Required

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Publisher.
  • One year of successful service at Highlands on the Dream Team, Staff, Highlands College or Highlands internship program.
  • Proven ability to help make teams come together in an organized way to help achieve the vision of Church of the Highlands.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Assist Campus Pastor with campus calendar and schedule.
  • Respond to emails, phone calls, and assigned Rock connections within a 24-hour time frame.
  • Assist the Campus Pastor with various projects in support of operations at the campus.
  • Oversee supplies, documents, metrics, and facilitate accounting processes for campus.
  • Serve as the point of contact for central operations communication.
  • Maintain the campus calendar in coordination with the church-wide calendar.
  • Serve as point of contact for Central Conferences and Events for coordinating all special events and conferences at the campus.
  • Coordinate the preparation of the facility throughout the week for upcoming services, small groups, GT events, etc.
  • Work with campus team to ensure excellence is maintained inside & outside the facility.
  • Coordinate Premarital Program.
  • Be actively engaged in ministry at Church of the Highlands by leading a small group.

    Sunday Responsibilities

    • Assist with coordination and facilitation of all services & Growth Track events.
    • Available to Campus Pastor before, after, & during services for various needs that arise.
    • Create a high-touch environment (love, encourage, welcome people).
    • Identify/Resolve potential issues.
