RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Select, edit, & distribute sermon clips, worship content, and church moments across social platforms.
  • Manage social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube) plus additional platforms as needed, including ideation, writing, editing, scheduling, and posting content.
  • Create and drive social media plans and content calendars, including developing campaigns and managing social partnerships for the target audience.
  • Help oversee community management on all channels, including responding to comments and direct messages.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging trends, platform updates, and best practices to keep Elevation's content fresh and relevant.
  • Research and present new ideas for engagement strategies, content opportunities, and platform innovations.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop creative social media campaigns.
  • Assist with team projects, weekly worship experience, special event coverage, and special initiatives as needed.
  • Learn and develop skills in content strategy, analytics, and digital marketing best practices to grow in the role.
  • Assist in tracking performance analytics to measure content effectiveness and identify growth opportunities.
MUST-HAVES
  • Active participation in a church (we look for a lifestyle of inviting people to church, volunteering, generosity, and prioritizing community)
  • Experience editing Short-form content using platforms like Adobe Premiere, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, etc.
  • Experience in writing and overseeing content creation, with a high level of understanding of popular social networks - design, functionality, features, and users
  • Creative thinking with an eye for storytelling, hooks, retention strategies, and digital trends.
  • Relevant marketing experience (managing social media platforms or communities for brands, etc.)
  • High level of time management & ability to work under pressure
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills
  • Experience with content strategies; very high attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of social media analytics and an interest in using data to inform content decisions.
  • A strong desire to learn, grow, and contribute to a high-impact team.
  • Knowledge of Elevation Church projects and voice
NICE-TO-HAVES
  • Experience managing social accounts with over 500K followers
  • Experience working in a non-profit environment, ministry setting, or start-up
  • Proficient in Google Drive tools, specifically Google Docs & Google Sheets
  • Experience producing and managing video shoots
DAY-TO-DAY
  • We're a Sunday-Thursday work environment. Monday-Thursday, we're in the office (8:30AM - 5PM); on Sunday, we're supporting the weekend worship experience either directly in our roles or by choosing a weekly serving opportunity at one of our Elevation Church campuses.
  • There's a lot to accomplish each week, so we're pretty fast-paced. We're also not afraid to pivot a strategy or project quickly to meet the needs of the weekend - adaptability is a key competence for us.
