Position Summary:
The Director of Product - Chrysler Brand is a pivotal leadership role responsible for shaping the strategic direction, development, and lifecycle management of Chrysler vehicles. This role is central to driving sustainable, profitable growth in Chrysler sales and market share.
The Director will lead a high-performing team responsible for coordinating cross-functional activities related to vehicle positioning, product plan definition, volume, mix, and target customer. Success in this role requires a unique blend of disciplined execution and creative vision to deliver products that embody the future of the Chrysler brand.
The Chrysler Product team defines both current and future vehicle strategies, technologies, and services. Our product vision is grounded in deep market insight, rigorous research, and advanced analytics. At the heart of every product decision is a clear understanding of customer motivations-what drives their purchase decisions, how they perceive the brand, and how Chrysler compares to competitors.
This is a highly strategic, fast-paced, and visible role that leads the development of product vision, planning, positioning, segmentation, commercialization, and go-to-market strategies. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, self-starting leader with a proven ability to influence across functions, navigate complexity, and drive disciplined execution.
As a results-oriented people leader, the Director will inspire and empower their team to deliver on key priorities. They must also demonstrate the ability to independently craft proposals and strategic recommendations for senior leadership with minimal oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and execute product strategy for Chrysler vehicles, balancing brand identity, customer expectations, and business objectives
  • Lead product planning and feature contenting, optimizing the vehicle lineup with a sharp focus on target customer needs and strategic positioning
  • Act as the voice of the customer and brand throughout product development, ensuring Chrysler's vision and values are embedded in every decision
  • Lead the integration of brand positioning with product strategy to ensure a cohesive and compelling market offering that reflects customer values and brand identity
  • Identify and prioritize product investments in areas that deliver the greatest customer impact and competitive differentiation, ensuring resources are used efficiently and focused on high-value opportunities
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture across engineering, research, design, marketing, sales, and finance to drive unified product execution
  • Identify and prioritize emerging trends, technologies, and market shifts to inform and evolve Chrysler's product strategy
  • Manage team responsible for product lifecycle planning from concept through launch and serial life
  • Align internal stakeholders and represent Chrysler's product strategy in executive forums and external engagements, ensuring clarity, consistency, and strategic impact
