Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from a location of your choice while enjoying the flexibility of a remote work setup. Your primary engagement will be through virtual therapy sessions, ensuring high accessibility and convenience for clients at our detox center. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality counseling and psychotherapy services tailored to the needs of clients facing urgent mental health concerns.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments, ensuring clear, measurable goals in collaboration with each client.
  • Advocate for clients by connecting them to vital resources, including financial aid, housing support, and additional social services crucial for their recovery journey.
  • Provide crisis interventions to clients experiencing acute mental health issues, including but not limited to cases of suicidal ideation and severe trauma responses.
  • Engage in community education initiatives aimed at promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma around mental health issues.
  • Maintain accurate, comprehensive case records and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.
  • Participate in ongoing mentorship and training sessions that foster both professional and personal growth within the clinical landscape.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role is centered around providing care to a diverse population, particularly those in a detox environment. Clients may include individuals struggling with substance abuse, mental health disorders, and co-occurring conditions. You will employ culturally competent practices to appreciate and respond to the diverse backgrounds of clients, ensuring equitable and effective support.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
  • Current and valid Nevada license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), with the capacity to practice independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, empathetic approach to client interactions, emphasizing inclusivity and understanding of diverse backgrounds.
  • At least two years of proven experience in providing therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families, particularly in challenging environments.

Compensation and Benefits

Your hard work will be recognized with a competitive compensation package ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits program.
