Job description

Master Control Operator- Central Ministry

The Master Control Operator will support all areas of Live Video Production including operation and monitoring of the core video infrastructure, signal contribution and transmission, captures and archives of video feeds, and live streaming platform management.

The Master Control Operator will also work closely with the live video team to prepare and support weekend services, and other events as needed. In addition, the MCO will work with the creative arts team to manage the flow of live recorded video assets to the social media and video teams. All this will be done with the primary purpose of achieving the mission, vision, and strategies of Southeast Christian Church, and above all else, communicating the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

What we are looking for

  • Strong technical skills including signal flow and troubleshooting
  • Competency in live video production
  • Flexible with change and calm demeanor under pressure
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

What you will be doing

  • Operation of the Blankenbaker Master Control Room during services and other events
  • Delivering and receiving production cues for campus transitions
  • Monitoring video feeds for quality, transition between live, pre-recorded, and delayed content, and deliver feeds to streaming platforms
  • Manage Live Streaming schedules and meta data on streaming and content platforms
  • Manage media archives

Our Requirements

  • 2-5 yrs. in a professional broadcast setting
  • Experience working in a Church or other Non-Profit is helpful
  • Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church, or willing to become one.
