What is a Christian Video?

A Christian Video job involves creating, editing, or producing video content that aligns with Christian themes, values, or ministries. This can include church services, sermons, worship videos, documentaries, social media content, or promotional materials for faith-based organizations. Roles may vary from videographers and editors to producers and content strategists. The goal is to use video storytelling to inspire, educate, and spread the message of faith.

What are the common responsibilities of a Christian Video?

In a Christian Video role, you will typically plan, film, and edit video content for worship services, church events, social media, and outreach campaigns. You may also collaborate closely with pastors, worship leaders, and communications teams to ensure each video aligns with the church’s message and vision. Managing livestreams, creating promotional materials, and troubleshooting technical issues are often part of the daily workflow. This role provides many opportunities to use creative skills to connect with a wider audience and contribute to the ministry’s impact.

What skills and qualifications are needed for a Christian Video?

To thrive in a Christian Video role, expertise in video production, editing, and storytelling is essential, often supported by experience in religious or faith-based content creation. Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve, and familiarity with livestreaming platforms and video cameras, is highly valued. Strong communication, creativity, and collaboration skills help convey faith-based messages effectively and ensure smooth teamwork with ministry staff. These capabilities are essential for producing engaging, high-quality video content that aligns with organizational values and strengthens community outreach.

Job description

Description

At Christian Family Solutions, we are committed to healing and helping people in need with the same excellence and unconditional love that Jesus Christ demonstrated in His ministry. It is our goal to help clients feel welcomed, safe, and supported within our family of care. Click here to view a video about us. When someone is called to a career with a strong sense of purpose, it's more than a job. It's a vocation.

What you will be doing

We are actively seeking counselors who are members of a WELS or ELS congregation and have a strong desire to learn more about integrating Christian counseling practices based on these principles. This part-time School-Based Therapist role provides dual-role services at Michigan Lutheran Seminary through our School Partnership Program. Our school partnership program is a customized and comprehensive way for schools to assist in meeting the emotional or psychological needs of their students by providing them with convenient, affordable services. In this school-based therapist role, you will not only provide clinical therapy, but also work collaboratively with school staff and parents to support student's academic, social, emotional and/or behavioral support by creating and assisting with school-based intervention plans.

Hours for this position will generally be 8am-4pm, three days per week during the 2026-2027 school year. This is a school year position which includes an eight-week non-work period in the summer months. As a part-time employee, you'll be eligible for our Paid Time Off (PTO) policy, and 401(k) plan with employer match policy.

Many of our clients choose CFS because they desire to have their care guided by principles and values of the Christian faith. Our approach embraces the two main aspects of the Bible's teachings: God's Law (His guide for living) and His Gospel (His forgiveness and grace when we and others fail to live according to the guidance He provides). As a therapist with Christian Family Solutions, you will meet clients where they are in terms of their faith. Any application of faith principles is done with the appropriate sensitivity and cultural competence that meets or exceeds the standards of our profession as outlined in the American Psychological Association's ethical code. We provide excellent and compassionate care to all clients, regardless of socioeconomic background or faith affiliation.

Why work for Christian Family Solutions?

You will receive guidance, support, and training on evidence-based care along with Christian integration techniques so that you can appropriately align the counseling experience with the principles of the Christian faith. You will work in a unique environment where both your professional skills and your faith can grow.

Joining our team means more than just a career - it's a vocation driven by a profound sense of purpose. We prioritize the professional development of our staff, providing ample opportunities for both professional and spiritual growth. To deliver our unique approach, training opportunities are built into our benefits package. That said, our employees regularly tell us that their reasons for working at CFS extend far beyond compensation and benefits. It's about a calling to serve others in their time of great need. If you are motivated to assist clients in a comfortable, supportive, and Christ-centered atmosphere with a strong Christian Mission and Core Values, we want you to be a part of our team!
