Concord Academy is accepting applications for full-time teachers in our Daycare program. We are looking to add creative and loving early childhood teachers to our team!
Position Summary
Concord Academy Daycare provides a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that supports the spiritual, social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. This position partners with families and staff to foster a Christ-centered atmosphere of love, learning, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons, crafts, and activities that align with Christian values.
  • Encourage positive behavior through patience, consistency, and love.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding daily activities, progress, and concerns.
  • Assist children with personal care routines, including meals, hygiene, and rest periods.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Follow all Concord Academy policies, licensing regulations, and health/safety standards.
  • Model Christian character and encourage spiritual growth through prayer, Bible stories, and worship activities.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent (Associate's or CDA preferred).
  • Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or church setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Work Schedule
