Job description

Supervisor Position

Leadership Development Manager.

On-call as scheduled for the camp aquatics program.

Maintain current life guarding, CPR/first aid certifications from a nationally recognized agency as required. Maintain a safe and acceptable swimming program and assist in the maintenance of the swimming pool and lake front area. Cooperate with the Assistant Camp Administrator in implementing the camp aquatics program.

Provide for the constant watch and supervision of those in the pool and/or lake front area.

Enforce the rules of the pool and lake.

Be mindful of and enforce all safety rules and techniques.

Be prepared to conduct canoe instruction.

Assist with the daily cleaning of the pool, pool showers and restrooms, canoes, and waterfront areas as needed.

Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.

Ability to grasp, push, pull objects and reach overhead.

Ability to operate telephone.

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Ability to understand written information.
