In search of:
Out of School Enrichment Leader
  • Be the reason a child can't wait to come back tomorrow.

The adults who make the biggest difference are the ones children remember for years to come. They're the ones who make kids feel seen, encourage them to try something new, and turn ordinary afternoons into unforgettable memories.
As a Y-Club Leader, you will:
  • Lead a group of K-6 children in our licensed before and after school Y Club program, creating a safe and welcoming environment.
  • Lead fun, engaging games and activities that build social-emotional skills, foster friendships, and spark curiosity.
  • Inspire confidence and leadership by encouraging children to try new things, solve problems, and discover what they're capable of.

Possible opportunities available in elementary schools and Y branches in Alliance, Northwest, Canton City, Jackson, North Canton, Lake (Hartville/Uniontown), Louisville, Perry, Plain and Minerva school districts.
Hours/Shifts:
  • Monday through Friday shifts available (no weekends)
  • Before school hours: 6:30-9am (varies by Stark County School District location)
  • After school hours: 3-6pm (varies by Stark County School District location)

Pay Rate: $12.35 /HR
*Complimentary Y membership and discounted rates for child care and programs also included.

Individuals who will...
  • Serve as a professional role model for children grades K-6 by leading through example, encouraging healthy and safe behaviors and creating a positive experience while ensuring safety and proper supervision of all.
  • Participate in and lead activities with students that include, but are not limited to, arts and crafts, sports, STEM, character education, and social and emotional skills.
  • Partner and build relationships with parents, school employees, administration and other adults in order to foster a supportive environment for each child.
  • Be a part of an amazing team of staff focused on teaching teamwork and social skills, and supporting children as they grow and learn.

  • Execute State Licensing and Step Up to Quality requirements in order to provide a quality care environment.

Qualifications:
  • At least 18 years old
  • Completed high school or GED program
  • Ability to pass a background check
