Insight is searching for a knowledgeable and compassionate chiropractor to assist patients with injuries and impairments regarding the neuromusculoskeletal system, including the muscles, nerves, and bones, especially those of the back and neck. The chiropractor will speak to patients to discuss injuries and health concerns, assess their physical condition and lifestyle, order tests, administer treatment, and provide advice about extended care and pain management. This person should be thorough, attentive, and possess a strong understanding of musculoskeletal and nerve injuries and how to treat them.

Duties:

  • Interview and examine patients to determine a diagnosis
  • Performing physical exams and patient observations
  • Consulting with healthcare professionals and families
  • Order tests to ascertain the nature and extent of illnesses and injuries
  • Administer and analyze diagnostic tests
  • Monitoring and operating medical equipment
  • Working with patients to learn about injuries or identify health concerns and create a plan for treatment or management
  • Administering holistic treatments, such as spinal manipulation, adjustments, massage, and hot and cold compresses
  • Referring patients to other doctors or specialists, as needed
  • Providing patients with tips to improve their lifestyle, including nutrition, exercise plans, and stretches
  • Recording patients' medical histories and symptoms
  • Maintain patient records and provide documentation for insurance companies
  • Creating patient care plans and contributing to existing ones
  • Detecting changes in patients' health and modifying treatment plans, as needed
  • Training patients and their families to manage and prevent illness and injury
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrates eligibility to work for any employer in the U.S
  • Doctorate of chiropractic degree required
  • Comprehensive knowledge of neuromusculoskeletal injuries, conditions, and treatments
  • Understanding of stretches, exercises, therapies, and dietary changes that may help patients manage their overall health
  • Ability to analyze patient conditions based on observations and medical tests
  • Proficiency with medical instruments and equipment required to perform your work
  • Knowledge of computer-based data management programs and information systems, as well as medical records and point-of-interview technology
  • A sound understanding of all pertinent federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of disease prevention
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment while maintaining positive energy
  • Willingness to participate in goal-setting and educational activities for professional advancement
