Job description

Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Chili's Server ensures Guests receive a great dining experience. You will serve guests promptly and attend to their needs. Practice responsible alcohol service following state and local laws and follow the Choctaw Nation alcohol policy. You will report to the General Manager or Shift Lead.

Hiring Server Positions! 

Pay Rate: $4.00 per hour + Tips (Avg. Tip Rate $20.75) | Part-Time | Variable Days & Shifts

Weekly Earned Wage Access is an option for this position. 

Primary Tasks:

  1. You will write food and beverage orders on Guest tickets and enter order into POS quickly and in proper sequence, using appropriate abbreviations and charges.
  2. Have proficient knowledge of the menu to explain our offerings to the Guests, inform them of current food promotions and specials, and answer any questions.
  3. Serve food and beverages to Guests promptly, which includes retrieving food orders from the kitchen and transporting them to the Guests in the servers' section, and for any other section in the restaurant.
  4. Assess guest demeanor and identity when behavior are called to the attention to the Manager.
  5. Follow alcohol awareness procedures for identifying age, preventing intoxication, and dealing with intoxicated Guests.
  6. You will collect payment (Credit cards, cash) for drinks and food served following company established accounting procedures for all transactions.
  7. Ensure all financial transactions are correct; maintain accuracy and coins for making change. Operate POS machines correctly. Calculate change due to the Guest and returns the appropriate amount promptly.
  8. Maintain table appearance by pre-pressing, checking drink levels, removing clutter, and providing napkins.
  9. Keep station clean; set up and take down station tables.
  10. Perform shift change and opening and closing responsibilities.
  11. Follow all company safety and sanitation procedures.
  12. You will assist other Team Members or when needs dictate.
  13. Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.

Job Requirement:

  • Stands/walk 100% of shift
  • Reaches, bends, stoops, and wipes frequently
  • Operate POS, make change and conduct credit card transactions and account for all monies as the end of each shift
  • Plates, food, and clear tables which may require lifting as much as 30lbs
  • Verbalize and respond to Guests
  • Obtain an Oklahoma ABLE Liquor License
  • Must be willing to work weekends and holidays
  • Prior Full Service Casual Dining experience
