Job description

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hourly | Part-Time | Hours Vary Based on Business Demands

Chili's Bar and Grill Line Cook Multiple Shifts available. Only Chilis in the world inside a casino. Fun, friendly, fast paced environment. 

Weekly earned wage access is an option for this position.
 

Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Chili's Line Cook prepares food following all Chili's Grill & Bar specifications and company safety and sanitation procedures. You will report to the Chilis General Manager.

Primary Task:

  1. You will prepare a variety food, with diverse methods of preparation and follow specific product prep and handling procedures and plate presentation.
  2. Prepare following all Chili's Grill & Bar specifications and maintain a high-quality product.
  3. Maintain cleanliness through the kitchen. Clean and sanitize throughout the shift.
  4. Keep prepared food flowing out of the kitchen.
  5. Communicate ticket times and potential problems with the QA, manager, and servers.
  6. You will complete assigned prep work to stock and set up stations.
  7. Break down and clean stations or work area at end of shift.
  8. Ensure rotation of all products and stocks products.
  9. Perform shift change and opening and closing responsibilities.
  10. Follow all company safety and sanitation procedures.
  11. You will assist other Team Members or when needs dictate.
  12. Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.

Required Education and experience:

  • Stand/walk 100% of shift
  • Reach, bend, stoop, and wipe frequently
  • Lift and carry up to 70lbs, up to 20 times per shift; place these items on high shelves and in walk-in cooler or freezer
  • Willing to work in frequently damp, hot work environment
  • Use knives and utensils
  • Use slicers or other kitchen machinery
  • Hold items for extended periods of time, bearing weight up to 5lbs of weight
  • Willing to work weekends and holidays
