Job description

AspireHope NY, Inc has immediate openings for Group Childcare/ Respite Worker positions in SCHUYLER County, NY.
Duties include supporting the Group Childcare Supervisor in delivering safe, engaging care for children and youth.
  • Assist with socialization and recreational activities for children with emotional, behavioral, and/or intellectual challenges, as well as their siblings.
  • Help maintain a safe environment by communicating with team members to ensure children and youth are always supervised, and appropriate staff-to-child ratios are maintained.
  • Attend staff meetings as requested.
  • Assist with group site set-up and cleaning.
  • Complete documentation as needed.

Must be 18 years of age, have GED/HS diploma, and reliable transportation. Requires availability for evening hours for support groups and activities, with occasional weekend hours.
Job type - Per Diem
$18.03 per hour, Sick Time and Mileage Reimbursement
