Position at Evergreen Child Development Center
Evergreen Child Development Center is a licensed childcare center seeking a Co-Lead Teacher to support the following age group:
Preschool
To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED, CDA or higher, and the ability to pass all background checks. One Year experience working with preschool children in a childcare setting.
Required Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 5:30pm
Compensation: $19 - $19.50 an hour, based on education and experience

Our Hiring Process:

Main Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepare lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate one week in advance using current curriculum guides.
  • Implement lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development and carry out lesson plans according to classroom schedule/daily routine; Use our parent communication app efficiently.
  • Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
  • Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs; and maintaining an organized, clean, safe, and appropriately decorated classroom.
  • Maintain a child assessment and portfolio for each child, as well as conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences during the month of November and May.
  • Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
  • Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children.
