About the Role:

The Child Care position at the Child Development Center (CDC) is dedicated to fostering a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for young children. The primary goal is to support the holistic development of each child, including their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. This role involves creating and implementing age-appropriate activities that stimulate learning and creativity while ensuring the well-being and safety of all children in care. The Child Care provider will work closely with families and colleagues to maintain open communication and support each child's individual needs. Ultimately, this position contributes to laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning and positive development in early childhood.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid for infants and children.
  • Experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate practices.
  • Ability to pass background checks and meet state licensing requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a licensed child care center or preschool environment.
