Chief Nursing Officer Opportunity - Behavioral Health

River Oaks Hospital, located minutes outside of New Orleans, Louisiana, is a 126-bed psychiatric facility that has provided quality treatment to individuals suffering from mental illness and/or addictive disorders since 1970. Situated on a 14-acre campus, inpatient services are available for adults and adolescents. We also offer a partial hospitalization program (PHP) and intensive outpatient programs (IOP) for adults. Our programs are nationally recognized for their excellence, receive referrals from around the United States, and are acknowledged as leading centers in their respective fields.

The Chief Nursing Officer is a key member of the Coastal Harbor Health System senior leadership team who will integrate and coordinate a patient centric nursing strategy with a hands-on approach and keen focus on patient care; ensuring that delivery of high-quality and cost-effective health care is consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Universal Health Services and in accordance with government regulation, licensing and accreditation requirements.  The CNO participates in the hospital’s strategic planning and contributes to the achievement of institutional goals and objectives.  The CNO will focus on 5 key areas: People, Service, Quality, Growth, and Finance.

  • Five or more years of progressive nursing management experience in a free-standing behavioral health setting preferred
