On behalf of Dr. Jill Halterman, Chair of Pediatrics at the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry and Physician-in-Chief at University of Rochester Medicine Golisano Children's, CareerPhysician, LLC, the national leader in academic child-health executive search and leadership development, has initiated an international search to identify a transformational leader to serve as Golisano Children's Chief of the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology.
  • As Chief, you will have the tremendous opportunity to guide a dedicated team of faculty and staff who deliver comprehensive, family-centered care to children and adolescents across Western and Central New York. You will shape the strategic vision for a division poised for continued growth, programmatic expansion, and scientific discovery.
Key Leadership Opportunities Include:
  • Advancing a clinical enterprise with the incoming leader possessing strong clinical credentials in pediatric endocrinology with experience spanning diabetes, general endocrinology, and ideally at least one subspecialty area such as bone health, DSD/CAH, PCOS, and/or obesity.
  • Strengthening a research portfolio with opportunities to build near-term research and quality-improvement activity through collaborations across the University of Rochester's robust institutional research infrastructure: CTSI with UM1 funding, TrialNet affiliate site.
  • Elevating educational excellence through mentorship of fellows, residents, and medical students in a supportive, learner-centered environment as well as re-initiate fellowship accreditation once faculty staffing supports it.
  • Fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation within the Department of Pediatrics and across URochester Medicine's integrated health system including an adult endocrine division eager to collaborate on transition clinics, bone health, and potential joint programs.
