Job description

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for the overall strategic, operational, financial, and clinical leadership of the medical clinic and ambulatory surgery center. The CEO works collaboratively with the Board of Directors, executive leadership team, physicians, and staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, financial sustainability, regulatory compliance, and organizational growth. This position provides vision, leadership, and direction to support the clinicโ€™s mission, values, and longโ€‘term success.

The CEO is accountable for creating a culture of excellence, employee engagement, operational efficiency, patient satisfaction, and continuous improvement in a healthcare environment.

  • Develop and execute the clinicโ€™s strategic vision, goals, and organizational priorities.
  • Partner with the Board of Directors to implement longโ€‘term planning initiatives and growth strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for service expansion, operational improvements, and community partnerships.
  • Promote innovation and organizational effectiveness to meet changing healthcare demands.
  • Oversee dayโ€‘toโ€‘day clinic operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and patientโ€‘centered care.
  • Ensure departments operate effectively to support clinical, financial, and administrative goals.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7โ€“10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare administration, preferably in a medical clinic, ambulatory care, or physician practice setting.
  • Demonstrated experience in operational leadership, financial management, and strategic planning.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations, regulatory compliance, and reimbursement models.
  • Proven leadership and team development skills.
  • Excellent financial acumen and budgeting experience.
  • Strong communication, problemโ€‘solving, and decisionโ€‘making abilities.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with physicians, staff, board members, and external stakeholders.
