CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (CEO) – BEHAVIORAL HEALTH

JOB OVERVIEW
Seeking an accomplished Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide strategic, operational, financial, and clinical leadership for a behavioral health organization. The CEO will be responsible for overall organizational performance, quality outcomes, compliance, growth initiatives, physician relations, staff development, and financial success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead overall organizational strategy, operations, and performance
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans and growth initiatives
  • Oversee financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and revenue optimization
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, accreditation readiness, and licensure standards
  • Drive quality improvement, patient safety, and performance improvement initiatives

  • Manage payer relationships, contract negotiations, and reimbursement strategies

  • Provide leadership to executive management, clinical leadership, and medical staff
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Clinical, Marketing, or related discipline preferred
  • MBA, MHA, or related advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum 5-7 years of executive healthcare leadership experience
  • Previous CEO, COO, Hospital Administrator, or equivalent senior leadership experience required
  • Behavioral health, psychiatric hospital, acute care, or managed care leadership experience required
  • Strong knowledge of hospital operations, business development, compliance, accreditation, and financial management
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
