Executive Assistant to CEO, Well-Established Community Bank, Houston Texas

A well-established community bank serving Houston’s vibrant Asian community is looking for an Executive Assistant, “right hand” for the CEO. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who really wants to be a true partner to her and be involved with every detail of her day including very heavy meeting scheduling and coordination as well as spearheading and board meetings. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years’ experience supporting a high- level executive, preferably within banking and financial services and can act as a quasi-Chief of Staff, taking as much off her plate as possible so she can focus on business objectives.

About the Job:

¨ Support the CEO as a right hand “gatekeeper” with all day-to-day matters including heavy complex calendar management; keep the CEO on track for these meetings and priorities,

¨ Organize and manage travel arrangements with detailed itineraries

¨ Prioritize emails; proactively follow-up or bring attention to time sensitive and urgent matters

¨ Prepare email correspondence, reports briefings and other documents for internal stakeholders and client meetings.

¨ Act as the liaison to the Board of Directors; prepare for monthly board meetings with all logistics , collateral materials, agenda’s , PowerPoint presentations

¨ Record and draft meeting minutes

¨ Build relationships with the CEO’s direct reports and other internal stakeholders and clients

¨ Manage expense reporting

¨ Optimize the CEO’s time by being pro-active, anticipating needs, staying 3 steps ahead

¨ Some personal work, run errands,

¨ Ad hoc projects; planning events

About You:

¨ Over 5years of experience as an Executive Assistant supporting a C-Suite Executive preferably in the banking and financial services space

¨ Bachelor’s Degree

¨ Experience planning board meetings and the logistics from start to finish

¨ High level of integrity and discretion in handling all confidential information; high emotional and intellectual intelligence

¨ Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills; PowerPoint proficient Tech savvy with experience using AI tools in a business setting to improve efficiencies.

¨ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
