AMG Specialty Hospital - Muncie Campus isseeking a Full Time Assistant Chief Clinical Officer (ACCO), Registered Nurse, RN whois a member of the Administrative Team of our facilities and as suchparticipates in decision-making, policy determination, and planning andoperations of the hospital. She/he supports the responsibility for themanagement of all nursing education practices, quality, risk management, andperformance improvement. The ACCO must have knowledge of current theoreticalapproaches to delivering nursing care and strategies for examining and applyingrelevant concepts and current leadership, management, and performanceimprovement concepts and supports participation in developing andimplementing strategies to address opportunities for improving nursing care.
Qualified applicants must haveInfection Control and Quality experience! She/He is responsible for theidentification, investigation, reporting, prevention and control of healthcareassociated infections (HAIs) among patients and personnel. By authorityof the Infection Control Committee, she/he may institute collection of culturesand initiate appropriate isolation precautions. She/He is responsible forassisting with in-service programs related to infection prevention andcontrol. Job Requirements
  • Current Indiana Registered Nurse Licensure.
  • Minimum of two years critical care experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management ability with a minimum of two-four years' experience in nursing administration.
  • Current ACLS
  • Current BLS
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Infection Control and Quality experience is required!
