Job description

Radical Renovations is looking to hire an architectural drafter to work with our in-house design team to create residential construction documents. We are looking for a self-motivated, well-organized individual.  This is a salary position and working a 40-hour minimum week is a requirement. 
 
Responsibilities  and requirements:
  • Create detailed working drawings, floor plans, elevations, cross sections.
  • Work with designers, architect, and engineer to produce residential building plans.
  • Occasional site visits.
  • Measure and scan residential buildings to create as-builts.
  • Ability to use Chief Architect or the ability to learn and use it.
  • Ensure all drawings and layouts adhere to zoning and building codes.
  • Update plans based on feedback from clients, designers, and engineer.
  • Coordinate structural, mechanical, and electrical details to avoid construction conflicts.
  • Good organization skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Clear understanding of construction and processes.
  • Able to work and interact with co-workers and clients in a positive friendly manner.
