Now Hiring: Chicken Processor
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90033
Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Pay Rate: $17.87 per hour

What You'll Do:
As a Chicken Processor, you'll play a key role in producing high-quality poultry products. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Performing hands-on tasks such as sorting, cutting, deboning, trimming, and packaging chicken products.
  • Following safety and quality procedures to ensure compliance with all food handling regulations.
  • Keeping your work area clean, sanitized, and safe.
  • Operating equipment and tools properly and safely.
  • Inspecting products for quality and removing items that don't meet standards.
  • Monitoring machinery and reporting any issues right away.
  • Labeling and packaging products according to company specifications.
  • Working with USDA and HACCP guidelines to ensure compliance with state and federal poultry regulations.
  • Participating in training sessions to stay current with industry best practices.
  • Supporting your team to meet daily production goals.

This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.
Education:
  • High school diploma preferred, but not required.
What We're Looking For:
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Comfortable working in cold environments (25-50ยฐF).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety and food-handling protocols.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
  • Team player with solid communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and follow USDA inspection requirements.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
  • Regularly stand, walk, bend, lift, reach, push/pull.
  • May be exposed to feathers, dust, cold temps, and cleaning chemicals.
  • Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including gloves, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, etc.
  • May handle food products that contain allergens.
