Schedule: 7:30a-7p, three shifts per week, including every other weekend

We are looking for motivated, dependable, and dedicated caregivers to provide exceptional direct care and support to our patients. The Registered Nurse assesses, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices.

  • Actively engage in the health care team, offering direct and indirect care to patients, families, and legal guardians.
  • Assess patients' physical and psychological conditions continuously throughout their care journey.
  • Utilize the nursing process in alignment with the philosophy, objectives, values, mission, and core principles of CBH.
  • Uphold a safe therapeutic environment grounded in our core values.
  • Collaborate as an integral member of the multidisciplinary treatment team, actively contributing to the development, implementation, and documentation of tailored goals and interventions based on patient strengths and psychiatric challenges.

Your Experience Matters What we're looking for:

  • Education & Licensure: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; bachelor's degree preferred. Currently licensed to practice by the Illinois State Board of Nursing
  • Experience: A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a psychiatric facility preferred
  • Additional Skill Requirements: CPR certification and management of aggressive behavior training within 30 days of employment prior to assisting in a restraining procedure. Must be able to pass a competency exam for the area upon hire. May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.
