What you'll do:
Help members improve their skills, build confidence, and enjoy golf, whether as a beginner or seasoned player. As an integral part of our team, you'll deliver exceptional instruction, maintain a welcoming environment, and support the growth of our golf community.
To begin your career as a Golf Pro at Midtown, you can bring your expertise for a best-in-class experience for members. We also offer onboarding and development coaching, which includes being a part of our Launch program; these allow you to integrate into the culture of Midtown while acting as the information hub and ambassador of golf at your club. Golf Pros are rewarded for engagement and educational development. Full-Time Pros are offered medical, dental, vision insurance, Vacation/ Sick Time off and 401K opportunities.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide private and group golf instruction for adults and juniors.
  • Conduct swing analysis, skill assessments, and personalized coaching plans
  • Oversee safe and proper use of golf simulators, training tools, and equipment
  • Support scheduling, program registration, and communication with members
  • Maintain accurate records of lessons, participation, and equipment usage
  • Collaborate with leadership on longterm golf program development
  • Partner with thefitness department and establish cross-functional and club-wide collaboration
  • 12-20 hours/week
Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience as a Golf Professional or Instructor

  • Experience working with both adults and juniors
  • Strong understanding of golf fundamentals, etiquette, and rules
  • Ability to use golf technology (simulators, launch monitors, video analysis)
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk, and demonstrate golf movements for extended periods
  • Lift and move up to 25 pounds as needed (training aids, equipment, etc.)
  • Safely operate golf simulators and teaching tools
Bonus Points If You Have:
  • PGA Associate or Class A certification
  • Experience running tournaments or junior programs
  • Background in club fitting or swing technology
  • A natural ability to build community and member engagement
Compensation: $70-$90/ hour,depending on experience
