  • Platform collaboration & stakeholder engagement: Partner with Integration, Security, and Data teams on resilient designs; influence platform decisions impacting WFM; communicate complex architecture to technical and non-technical audiences; support escalations affecting WFM solutions.

Required qualifications

  • Experience: 8+ years in HR technology or enterprise application architecture; demonstrated Workforce Management and/or payroll-adjacent solution design; experience operating in regulated U.S. labor/payroll environments; proven ability to lead solution architecture across complex, multi-system landscapes.
  • Workday & domain expertise: Strong knowledge of Workday Time & Absence and WFM concepts; understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycle and how they map Workday business processes and security; hands-on Workday configuration across multiple HCM modules (implementations, redesigns, integrations, and large enhancements); familiarity with Workday architecture principles and governance; Workday Pro/certifications preferred.
  • Integration & technical skills: Workday integration patterns and data flows; time-to-pay and payroll integration concepts; system/solution design, APIs/integration design, foundational data architecture, security-by-design, and non-functional requirements (scalability, performance, resiliency, maintainability).
  • Professional skills: Strong analytical/problem-solving; balances compliance, business needs, and technical constraints; clear communication and stakeholder management; operates with architectural authority and accountability.

Preferred qualifications

  • Large-scale HR transformations or platform modernization programs
  • Unionized labor exposure and complex time rules
