Cherry Glass & Aluminum (CGA) is a multi-generational local business established in 1968. We specialize in glass and aluminum systems for both residential and commercial projects across Eastern Idaho and Western Wyoming.

Core Purpose

This role supports the installation of residential and commercial glass and aluminum systems. Whether experienced or new to the trade, youll be part of a hands-on field team delivering high-quality work, maintaining safety standards, and representing CGA on job sites.


What Youll Do

Daily Responsibilities

  • Assist with installation of windows, glass systems, mirrors, shower enclosures, and storefront systems
  • Measure, prep, and install materials with attention to detail
  • Load, unload, and stage materials for daily jobs
  • Safely handle and transport glass and construction materials (50+ lbs)
  • Use hand tools and power tools in a safe and efficient manner
  • Support experienced technicians on job sites and learn installation techniques
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles


Weekly Responsibilities

  • Keep job sites clean, organized, and professional
  • Work alongside team members to stay on schedule
  • Follow safety procedures and consistently use PPE
  • Participate in cross-training across different types of work (residential, commercial, shop work)


As Needed

  • Communicate professionally with contractors and homeowners
  • Troubleshoot basic installation or job site challenges
  • Work overtime during busy seasons to complete projects
