AltaStaff is currently hiring 1099 Independent Contractors -Physician Assistants PA-C to review UAS Assessments all over NYS! Join our dynamic team!
JOB SUMMARY
  • Responsible for reviewing and making recommendations on consumer assessments for long term care services and supports
  • Maintain current knowledge of regulatory changes pertaining to quality and validity of assessments
  • Assess cases presented and utilizes clinical competencies to review and validate assessment outcomes
  • Work collaboratively to monitor and address clinical quality and gaps in care
  • Provide clinical and educational assistance to support project initiatives
  • Demonstrate communication skills necessary to interpret age-specific responses
  • Participate in performance, improvement, and quality assurance activities and related meetings
  • Provide clinical and educational support to meet program goals
  • Meet all standards established for this position as outlined in the corresponding annual performance criteria and bonus template for this position
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by Management
Required Licensure
  • Current NY State Board Certified Physician Assistant Licensure
  • Proof of Board of Certification
  • Proof of Malpractice Insurance showing professional liability coverage of 1M per incident/3M agg
Required Experience
  • 2+ years practicing experience as a Physician Assistant
  • Computer literacy and the ability to navigate new and emerging technology
  • Must meet BYOD requirements
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills; strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment with proven ability to work with community groups
Required Vaccinations and Records
Upon credentialing all candidates will need the following or willingness for the following vaccinations.
  • Physical exam signed and dated by a physician within the last year
  • PPD or QuantiFeron (within 1 year) or chest X-ray with Questionnaires (every 5 years)
  • TDAP within 10 years
  • Quantitative Titers for MMR & Varicella
  • Hepatitis B vaccination schedule or Declination Form Also Accepted
  • Proof of Covid19 Vaccine
  • Proof of Flu Vaccine
