Summary:
The Chemical Technician's responsibilities include processing parts per procedures, performing titrations to determine chemical bath composition, setting up lab equipment and monitoring process parameters, compiling data, and interpreting results. Requires ability follow instructions and collaborate with others as well as passion about quality, production and chemistry. Should have in-depth Chemistry knowledge and superb observational and analytical skills. The shift for this position is Fri-Sun 5:00AM-5:30PM
Responsibilities:
• Understanding and following the instructions and specifications of engineers
• Assisting with the preparation of chemical solutions.
• Chemical processing of metal parts.
• Keeping the work area neat and clean and sterilizing all work surfaces and equipment.
• Regularly inspecting materials and equipment and ordering more as required.
• Training and monitoring other workers involved in chemical processing.
• Working alongside other engineers and technicians to develop improved production processes and methods.
• Completing titrations of chemical baths and adding chemical(s) as needed to make correct composition
• Interpreting test results and compiling reports.
• Visual inspection of parts.
• Packaging of parts.
Other information:
• An Associate's degree or similar.
• Additional courses in math, biology, chemistry, and physics would be advantageous.
• A completed apprenticeship or on-the-job training.
• Excellent knowledge of lab safety.
• Strong analytical, observational, and time management skills

Compensation Range: $33.80 to $38.95 USD. Many factors are considered in compensation decisions, including but not limited to skills, certifications, licensures, experience, training, incumbent data, and other business needs.
