Bella's Cafe

New Haven, CT • On-site

Full-time

Job description

Bella’s is searching for the right person, not just another cook. We’re looking for an experienced breakfast chef who wants to take pride in running a successful morning kitchen and being an important part of a well-established restaurant. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work, maintaining high standards, and creating a breakfast service that is consistent, efficient, and something both the team and our guests can count on every day.

The right candidate has previous experience managing a kitchen and understands that great leaders still lead from the line. We’re looking for someone who has already held a kitchen management role, is comfortable making decisions, directing a team, and keeping service running smoothly while remaining hands-on during every shift. You’ll be responsible for preparing quality breakfast dishes, keeping the kitchen clean and organized, managing prep, and ensuring every plate leaving the kitchen reflects the standards we’ve built our reputation on. As you become familiar with our operation, you’ll have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility and become the person who leads our breakfast kitchen each morning.

If you’re looking for more than just another cooking position and want to build something you can truly take ownership of, we’d love to talk with you. We offer competitive pay based on experience, a stable morning schedule, and the opportunity to become a key part of a restaurant that values quality, consistency, and people who care about their craft.
